Marbella
Epic Trail

This is where winter running happens.

Because the extraordinary is lived, not told.

Marbella Epic Trail is not just another trail race where you come to test your strength and endurance. It's a living entity, born in 2024 out of the collective experience of people who have lived this sport from every angle: companions, volunteers, participants and, finally, organisers.

Still young. Still learning. Still growing. A beast in its early days, with the ambition of becoming something truly extraordinary.

Ridge of Sierra Blanca in winter

The mountain

Sierra Blanca, in winter

A few kilometres from the sea, the limestone rises more than a thousand metres into another world: exposed ridges, Spanish fir forest, weather that changes its mind within the hour.

Down there, Marbella shines. Up here, none of that exists. Just rock, light, cold air — and the question of whether you trained enough.

The people

The mountain tests you. The people bring you home.

After hours alone in the Sierra, a volunteer who feeds you, fills your bottle or simply looks you in the eye can become the strongest memory of your race. They wait in the cold, in the dark, in the middle of nowhere. This race belongs to them as much as to whoever crosses the finish line.

  • A warm hand and broth at three in the morning.
  • Your bottle filled before you even ask.
  • Someone saying your name at the finish.
